Baba Adeyemo was the father of Mama Julie Moradeke Taiye Alalade. He was a well-read Anglican Missionary in Igangan, Kwara State. Baba was a gentle giant who was popular for his peaceful nature and settled disputes a lot due to his fatherly nature. Baba told Julie Moradeke the impact of Mary Slessor in stopping the killing of twins and so at the age of 7yrs , Julie promised her father (Baba Adeyemo) that she will contribute in the field of medicine to appreciate Mary Slessor for her role.[Text Wrapping Break]Baba shed tears of joy when Julie and her husband John reminded him of this story when their first hospital in Lawanson street, Ijeshatedo was established.
Baba retired as a cleric to Ada in the late 1980s and peacefully returned to Christ on January 5, 1990.
