ATG Renal & Dialysis Centres is a pioneer hospital (under the Brand name: Alalade Memorial Hospital) in the Alimosho Local Government Area since 1983; with a commitment to provide excellent healthcare services to patients with general medical conditions. ATG Renal & Dialysis Centres has become a go-to destination for quality healthcare in Nigeria.
He pioneered the Alalade Memorial Hospitals in the mid 1970s which gave birth to the ATG (askthegynaecologist) group today. He was one of the first Gynaecologists produced in the old Western Region of Nigeria and had the first diagnostic center including X-ray and full medical laboratories in Alimosho LGA of Lagos State, Nigeria. He was a major pioneer in private medical practice and was the CEO of Alalade Memorial Hospitals in Ijeshatedo-Surulere and Dopemu Agege in Lagos State, Nigeria. Baba J.O. as fondly called was the pioneer National Treasurer of the AGPMPN- Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria and held other national positions with the Nigerian Medical Association. He was a lover of Christ so contributed to the Nigerian Baptist Convention by donating the Providence Baptist Church, Dopemu.
Mrs Julie Moradeke Taiye Alalade, Nee Adeyemo (Our living legend)She worked hard with her first love in the early 1960s and agreed to have an impact on humanity by establishing medical centers that would put smile on faces of people. Mama as a twin always remembered Mary Slessor’s stopping of the killing of twins in Nigeria and so agreed with her then boyfriend- John Oyebiyi Alalade (whom she married in 1968) to provide quality and affordable gynaecological services to African women, using Nigeria as a case study. Mama J.M. as fondly called trained in Japan as a Customer Service Expert, supported her husband through medical school while working as a Senior Manager in the old Nigerian External Communications Limited-NET which later became NITEL and also ensured that their plans on provision of affordable and quality medical care came to life. Mama J.M. is the chairman of the ATG Group. She personally saw that it came to limelight.
Mama Eperson was an American Baptist Missionary who was posted to Nigeria as an educator with the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Ibadan Nigeria. John Oyebiyi Alalade was sent to Ibadan at the age of 13years to work as a houseboy with Mama Eperson then as a stack illiterate boy. However, by the second week of working with Mama Eperson, Mama saw how hardworking and committed he was and so enrolled him at the Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Ibadan. That was John’s first experience with education. Mama supervised him, financially supported him, and saw him through his secondary school education at Iwo Baptist High School and Hsc program at the famous Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo-Town, Oyo State. Mama observed the seriousness of the bond between Julie Moradeke who was already a Manager at NET and her heartthrob (John Oyebiyi) and so supported them to ensure John graduates with grand grades in Medical school.Mama retired in mid early 1980s and moved in to stay with John & Julie as their adopted mother. Mama returned to the USA in 1994 due to very old age (103yrs) where she peacefully passed on.
Baba Adeyemo was the father of Mama Julie Moradeke Taiye Alalade. He was a well-read Anglican Missionary in Igangan, Kwara State. Baba was a gentle giant who was popular for his peaceful nature and settled disputes a lot due to his fatherly nature. Baba told Julie Moradeke the impact of Mary Slessor in stopping the killing of twins and so at the age of 7yrs , Julie promised her father (Baba Adeyemo) that she will contribute in the field of medicine to appreciate Mary Slessor for her role.[Text Wrapping Break]Baba shed tears of joy when Julie and her husband John reminded him of this story when their first hospital in Lawanson street, Ijeshatedo was established. Baba retired as a cleric to Ada in the late 1980s and peacefully returned to Christ on January 5, 1990.
